Learning and support
The Learning and support team assesses and observes students at Royal Far West School every week as part of the Royal Far West Paediatric Development Program.
The learning and support team work with students and families while at Royal Far West School (RFWS) with a holistic approach for the purpose of targeting the students point of need so they can reach their full learning potential. Depending on each student's need, various reading, language and literacy assessments are conducted. Child-focused observations also provide support to clinical staff at Royal Far West as well as rural and distance education schools. In addition, feedback is provided to parents/carers while onsite at RFWS.
