Rural school visits

In week 7 Marianne, our Royal Far West School Deputy Principal, drove to Wagga to attend one of the Student Behaviour Policy familiarisation sessions.  It was so wonderful to connect with principals and school leaders from the area as we focused on the revised Suspension and Expulsion Procedures.

As part of the trip Marianne stopped in to The Bidgee School in Wagga and then went out to Leeton Public School.  It was great to visit these exceptional schools, to meet their staff in person (many of whom we have had years of phone calls and email correspondence!) and to see our students in their home school setting.

We hope to do more school visits in 2024, it is importance to connect with the students, staff and schools we support in an authentic way.
