Sharks!

Green group learned about sharks as part of a larger water safety unit that emphasizes the media obsession with shark attacks but how they are really, really rare.

We then discussed RIPS and how they are much more dangerous. Other areas of water safety discussed are the DRSABCD action plan, where the school defibrillators are, how kids become lifesavers and rescue techniques.
