It was wonderful to see Aunty Caroline leading her first Connection Circle in the newly furnished Yiran Birrang Room this week. The new furniture, delivered last Friday, has transformed the space β itβs warm, welcoming, and looks fantastic. Be sure to visit Level 1 to see it when you get a chance!
The session was attended by families, carers, and jarjums (children). One family, visiting from Wiradjuri Country and spending time on Gaimarigal Country, began scrapbooking their cultural experiences to support their foster child in building a strong Cultural identity and connection β a beautiful and meaningful practice.
This is a powerful example of how RFW School and RFW CCK creates safe, culturally rich spaces for healing and connection. Every participant rated the afternoon a 10 out of 10!
